A clear approach. A portfolio you can follow.

I invest my own money in shares with a convincing price trend. I follow a systematic selection process, with attention to diversification and risk. You can explore my portfolio and copy it on eToro.

The person behind the portfolio

I am Ludwig, based in Hannover, Germany. I have been investing my own money since 2016. Here you can see my eToro account's recorded performance, including its difficult periods.

How I invest

  • I look for shares showing sustained strength and assess them through a consistent process.
  • I spread investments across companies and consider the risk of the portfolio as a whole.
  • I review my holdings as conditions change. The portfolio can lose value, including over extended periods.

A dot means no monthly return is available. The first month has no preceding month-end value. The current month is incomplete; the year column compounds the available monthly returns.

How this is measured: The daily balances come from eToro; the calculation is ours: time-weighted, deposits and withdrawals removed. The line shows what the money did, not how much was added. Net of all costs that arise in the account. The account is publicly viewable at eToro. It has run since May 2025, and so does the series.

Before you decide

What does copying do?

eToro replicates the copied investor's positions proportionally in your account under its CopyTrader rules. Your result can differ because of timing, settings, costs and minimum trade sizes.

How much is required?

eToro currently lists a minimum of USD 200 to copy an investor. Minimum trade sizes can prevent small positions from being copied. Check the current requirements shown by eToro; this is a platform minimum, not a personal recommendation.

What happens during a losing period?

The value of the copied portfolio can fall. Diversification and a systematic process do not prevent losses. The history shown here includes drawdowns and cannot predict future results.

Can I stop copying?

eToro provides controls to manage or stop a copy. Read the confirmation carefully: pausing new trades and closing existing positions have different effects. Execution depends on the instruments and market availability.

How are you paid?

As a Pro Investor, I can receive remuneration from eToro under its programme. This creates a financial interest in being copied. There is no separate fee payable to me through this website.

Can I explore it before investing real money?

eToro offers a virtual portfolio for learning how its platform and CopyTrader work. Check the availability for your account. Virtual results are not evidence of future real-money performance.
